483.5 +/- acres of premier deer hunting in Madison Parish, LA
This tract is part of the well-known Brownie Tract situated just north of the Tensas Nat’l Refuge in Waverly. It has exceptional deer habitat that consists
of bottomland hardwoods and dense hardwood regeneration resulting from prior timber harvests. The tract is surrounded by farmland, WRP tracts, and
nearby hardwood tracts that create additional backup habitat.
The current owners and adjoining neighbors have been managing the area for trophy whitetails for over four years with outstanding results. 150+ class bucks
are have been taken each year.
The tract has a deeded access from the north off Hwy 579 to a locked gate and a common parking area for the 3 other adjoining owners.
